Sarah Burtis

Founder & Head Trainer

Training

Sarah Burtis is the founder and head trainer at All Strides Equestrian Center. She brings years of hands-on experience working with horses of varying ages, temperaments, and training levels, with a strong emphasis on safety, horsemanship, and humane care.

Sarah’s teaching philosophy centers on building confidence, clear communication, and mutual respect between horse and rider. Whether working with beginners or supporting more advanced students, she is committed to creating a calm, positive learning environment that prioritizes both rider education and horse welfare.

In addition to instruction and training, Sarah helps guide the mission and culture of All Strides—ensuring the program remains inclusive, ethical, and deeply rooted in the well-being of the horses.

Augusta Rose Lewis

Assistant Trainer

Coaching

Augusta Rose Lewis is an assistant trainer at All Strides Equestrian Center and a student in the Equine Sciences B.S. program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She also coaches at a local vaulting club, bringing both academic knowledge and competitive experience into her teaching.

Augusta is an accomplished equestrian vaulter, having competed internationally at the FEI Junior 2* level. She was a member of the silver medal–winning U.S. Junior Squad at the 2021 FEI Junior World Championships in Le Mans, France, and earned top placements at major international competitions including the Rocky Mountain Cup CVI and Flyinge CVI in Sweden. She was also part of the 2018 National Champion B Team and served as an alternate on the bronze medal–winning squad at the 2019 Junior World Championships.

In recognition of her dedication to both sport and education, Augusta was awarded the USEF Higher Education Scholarship for the 2022–2023 academic year.

At All Strides, Augusta works closely with horses and riders to reinforce strong fundamentals, safe handling practices, and thoughtful progression—supporting a steady, encouraging barn environment.

Leslie Kennedy

Barn Manager

Care

Leslie Kennedy serves as the barn manager at All Strides Equestrian Center, overseeing daily care operations that keep the facility running smoothly. Her responsibilities include feeding, stall care, and maintaining a consistent routine that supports the health and comfort of every horse on the property.

Leslie plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring horses receive reliable, attentive care each day. Her consistency and dedication help create a safe, organized environment for both horses and riders, and she is an important part of the All Strides team.
